岗位职责 Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. They have the following vacancy in their regional team for the Asia and Middle East region.
1. JOB PURPOSE:

 Provide overall direction and leadership for all entities in the region in Quality Assurance and Supply Chain functions (Sourcing, Purchasing, and Logistics).
 Formulate strategies and objectives in ensuring overall effort and resources are optimally utilized towards achieving set objectives and targets.

2. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Set Supply Chain & Quality Assurance and management strategic direction, policies and metrics for all entities in the region.
 Plan and establish a high efficiency and excellent service supply chain system consisting of planning, sourcing, stock, distribution, delivery service for all entities in the region.
 Provide guideline on local suppliers’ selection, evaluation and price negotiation to ensure service quality and cost control.
 Develop and implement framework and strategies to establish short and long-range objectives, encourage innovations in manufacturing process.
 Work closely with regional and local operation, sourcing, oversea sales and marketing department and set up company standard procedures are followed and in compliance with purchases of materials and services; as well as maintain liaison among plants, sales divisions and warehouses to provide efficient customer delivery service.
 Constantly assess trends in the global sourcing market, production and supply to ensure we are making our product at the best price in the best location.
 Implement operational excellence concepts such ACE Operating system and Lean manufacturing for improvements on plants product quality, enhance productivity and inventory management.
 Champion continuous improvement efforts, productivity and cost reduction activities in the region to achieve target operating targets and objectives.

 Assess, develop, and refine the overall planning, procurement, distribution quality control and logistics skill set in the organization. Provide continuous training and improvement in product and development.
 Responsible for the manufacturing operations the company has in China and India.
 Responsible for some other special projects in the region.


3. COMPETENCIES /TRAITS REQUIRED:

 Good English language capability both in oral and written.
 Possess strong leadership, planning and organizational skills.
 Mature and strategic thinking skills.
 Knowledge of Asian cultural background is added advantage
 Ability to deal with every level in the organization
 Ability to work under pressure

4. QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

 Bachelor / Master in Business Management / Quality Management / Supply Chain / Logistics or related field.
 With at least 10 years in manufacturing environment, of which 3 years in regional roles.
 Quality qualification such as CQI, Six Sigma etc
 Strong knowledge in overall Supply Chain concept (cost reduction, components localization etc) and quality management (8D, ACE, WLC, PDCA, FMEA etc).
 Good analytical, financial and P&L skills.
 HVACR experience and background a plus for this position
